Sky Gnome no longer available

Sky Gnome, a device introduced in 2005 to allow Sky subscribers to listen to sound from their digibox remotely, is no longer being sold by Sky.

A note on the Sky Gnome website said that the device is "no longer available" but added that customers who already have the device will "always" be able to contact Sky for support. Customer FAQs and the device's instruction manual are still available on the Sky website.

The device, which launched in October 2005, has an LCD display and stereo sound capability. It is able to remotely control a Sky digibox and has 8 hours listening time using rechargeable batteries.
