Dream Multimedia, maker of the popular Dreambox range of satellite receivers, has dropped us a line to say it's looking for beta testers for the upcoming DM 8000 HD PVR.
Interested? We'll leave it to Dream Multimedia to fill in the rest of the details.
'Anyone interested can apply to Dream via e-mail (vip@dream-multimedia-tv.de) stating the reason why he or she should get an DM8000. Dream does not only address those people with Dreambox experience, but also novices to digital television. The selected beta testers will get the DM8000 at a preferential price. This Dreambox represents state-of-the-art receiver technology. It comes euqipped with a DVB-S2 twin tuner as well as two sockets for additional tuners. It can be upgraded retrospectively by fitting a DVD player as well as a commercially available hard drive via SATA interface.
'Regarding connection opportunities, the DM8000 leaves nothing to be desired. An ethernet interface, three USB 2.0 interfaces as well as a DVI and YUV connection are only a few of the highlights of the DM8000 HD PVR DVD.'
