Toshiba DST-300 HDTV Receiver

• The receiver supports HD programming from DirecTV through built in DirecTV PLUS.
• Receives NTSC analogue signals and ATSC digital signals from cable networks or broadcasting towers with or without satellite dish antenna connected.
• The HD receiver is capable of receiving both SD and HD programming from DirecTV.
   
• Advanced programming guide is available in four views. Large guide (cell) displaying next two hours information with up to 6-8 lines per page, Small guide displaying next one and half hours detail with 9-12 lines per page and logo guide displaying more 30-40 channels per page providing information of current programs only. Filtering is available through main mane selecting theme filters, channels lists allowing you to create and select your own lists and prepick feature that allows automatic recording.
• The package includes infra red remote control can be used to control other system components such as HDTV, VCR, etc. access card from DirecTV, telephone cable, VCR control cable and user’s manual are also available with the package.

Toshiba DW65X91 HDTV Receiver

• Supports HD  programming by DirecTV as well as all other programming including ATSC digital and NTSC analogue.
• Three types of program guide are available in the HDTV receiver. By default the detailed guide, DirecTV only Surf Guide and the grid guide. Detailed guide shows information about five channels per page with time and title of the programs and description about the selected program at the top. The detailed guide has a number of buttons at the bottom to interact with the guide. RTN button takes you back to previous screen, Topic button sorts the guide according to topic, movie and sport button to view movies or sports only, arrow down button to scroll down, “All” button shows all the available programming, “AtoZ” button shows programming information alphabetically,” other guide” to view other guides and a Menu button that takes you to the main menu.
   
• Profile feature in main menu allows you to create four password protected user profiles with each having feasibility of blocking the programming by rate limit or spending time features.
• Channel search option allows you to search your favorite channels by name.
• Mailbox is available to get special information from service providers.
• Purchases feature allows you to view all the purchases you have made and schedule new purchases including buying pay-per-view programs.
• In the main menu The SAT setup menu appears only if you have subscribed with DirecTV programming that allows you to create channel lists for DirecTV with spending limits and rating limits features.

• Both the receivers support DirecTV and USSB services
• Receive NTSC analogue and ATSC digital programming from Cable and other broad casting towers.
• Receive all the programming from DirecTV except Direct TV HD programming.
• Five types of advanced programming guide are available. The grid guide showing seven channel information per page along with title and timing, info guide showing five channel information with title and timing of program plus some description about highlighted program, channel guide showing one channel’s complete information per page with channel up and down menu, topic guide gives you the list of themes like movies, sports, news and filters out only the selected theme information through the guide, attraction guide allows you to get information about upcoming programs and special events such as previews, DirecTV ticket and pay per views.
   
• You can buy any program from purchases menu.
• You can automatically tune to a particular channel by Timer feature.
• The mailbox can receive 2000 character message from service providers.
   
• Lists & Limits feature allows you to create your favorite channel lists and allow or disallow programming with rate limit and spending limit features.
• If system is not working properly go to option and perform system check to find out problem or problems.
• New access card when available go to options and start new access card wizard.
• If there is any problem the Assistance feature is there to provide you all the information you need about using or setting up your system
